Video: Rialto (CA) Fire Department Takes Delivery of Pierce TDA

The Rialto (CA) Fire Department’s Velocity 107’ heavy-duty Ascendant Tille features a black-over-red paint scheme the department adopted in 2016. To prevent back, knee, and ankle injuries, the fold-down air steps increase safety for the department. Because the city of Rialto, CA serves an urban and wildland area, a 1,500-gpm Waterous pump was added with a 300-gallon water tank. As you move down the TDA, all compartments are going to store rescue, extrication and rope rescue gear. The department also added an EMS compartment to serve those needs. At the end of the apparatus, the tiller cab is air conditioned and can be powered while in the station through a shoreline.
