The newest truck at Fire Station 11 isn’t here to respond to fires or medical emergencies.

Yesterday, we partnered with the University of Iowa College of Nursing to launch a mobile simulation truck that brings emergency medical training to first responders across Central Iowa.

Our firefighters will get their first opportunity to train on this truck starting next week, and we can’t wait to see how it helps improve our lifesaving capabilities.
