Warehouse Point Fire District (CT) Fire Station Named After Former Firefighter

The Warehouse Point Fire District Station 1 on Bridge Street has been named the Anthony DiMastrantonio station, reports Journal Inquirer.

Anthony DiMastrantonio, who died August 31, spent 56 years with the Warehouse Point Fire District, serving at times as president, captain, and commissioner.

The motion to change the station’s name was made at the department’s monthly meeting in October. The motion was approved unanimously, which sent it to the Warehouse Point Fire District Board of Commissioners.
