Vote Approaching for Central Jackson County (MO) Fire Station Improvements

Voters will be asked to approve $10 million in bonds to build and equip a Central Jackson County (MO) Fire Protection District fire station, reports The Examiner.

The bond issue will not increase taxes. The department’s recent demographic study showed the district’s population would increase about 27 percent over the next eight years. Right now, the fire stations are not situated to cover all parts of the city.
