The Trumann (AR) Fire Department received a $20,000 donation from Buddy’s Home Furnishings after its fire station was destroyed by a tornado earlier this month.
Officials say the new facility will take about a year to build.
FA reported at the time that recovery efforts were underway and going better than expected, and there were no fatalities reported. However, there were about 200 homes and buildings were destroyed.
