The Tri-Township (OH) Fire Department recently broke ground on a new station in Delaware, reports delgazette.com.
The facility will replace Thurman Evans Station 331 and be located about a mile from it, the report says.
Officials say the plan is to temporarily move the railroad to the east while the overpass is removed, a new one is installed, and the road is widened by two lanes.
This project still has a start time of spring 2022, according to the report.
On Sunday despite the weather we held our ground breaking for our new station to be located on Bowtown Road. pic.twitter.com/EGRjFoYytU— Tri Township Fire (@TriTownship) November 16, 2021
