Gulfport (MS) Opens Fire Station

Gulfport is celebrating a new fire station with a ribbon cutting, reports WLOX.

The new fire station cost $2.7 million. The new fire station is about a mile from the former station.

The facility features a state-of-the-art classroom for training. The new fire station will also help the fire department maintain its Class 2 rating which is the highest in the state.
