Concrete Poured for Bedford (PA) Fire Station

Workers began pouring concrete for the apron in front of the new Bedford Fire Department station, reports Bedford Gazette.

At a Bedford Borough Council meeting last week, it was reported that the apron and rear lot are the two major remaining areas to be completed. The concrete is expected to take at least three weeks to cure.

The city’s original fire station was more than 100 years old and was the seventh oldest active firehouse in the country.
