$80k Study Approved to Review Turlock (CA) Fire Department

City officials approved a $79,235 study which aims to identify the Turlock (CA) Fire Department’s deficiencies and propose rectification, reports turlockjournal.com.

Officials say the department is lacking in myriad areas, including its fleet, facilities, and administration and crew staffing.

Citygate Associates will conduct the six-month Fire Master Plan review, which will examine the department’s operations and level of service, the report says. Officials will then use the findings to make changes and direct capital funds as needed.
