Speeding Car Launches into Manatee County (FL) Fire Station’s Roof

A Sarasota man was critically injured after his speeding car launched into the air, hit a tree and crashed into the roof of a fire station, reports Bradenton Herald.

After going airborne and hitting a tree, the car then crashed into the roof and side wall of the Southern Manatee Fire & Rescue station.

No one inside of the fire station was injured and paramedics immediately went to assist the driver. The man was taking to a local hospital’s trauma center and he is in critical condition.

The building was severely damaged but the structure was deemed safe.
