Sheridan (WY) City Council Approves Exhaust Removal System

Sheridan City Council approved an $84,876.20 vehicle exhaust removal system project for Sheridan Fire-Rescue, reports The Sheridan Press.

The move allows for the department to adhere to an OSHA requirement identified in a 2018 fire study. SFR budgeted $90,000 in contingency funds to install the system.

The fire station currently has no exhaust ventilation, which results in the station not meeting OSHA standards
