Nearly $34-million will go toward the rebuild of the Fountaingrove Fire Station, fire resiliency measures, and mitigation projects.
The fire department posted to Facebook, “Fire Chief Westrope joined Mayor Rogers and Council member Fleming to meet with Rep. Mike Thompson (CA-05) at the former site of Fire Station 5, which burned in the Tubbs Fire, to acknowledge the good news that a total of $33.9M in Federal funding was allocated to the City to support unmet needs for rebuilding infrastructure damaged during the 2017 fires as well as to make infrastructure improvements to protect lives, homes, and businesses from future disasters.
