Fire Station 76 Breaks Ground in South Badger Mountain

Neighbors, emergency personnel, and city leadership joined in the groundbreaking of Fire Station 76 in the flourishing Badger Mountain South area. This new facility will also serve future developments of another park, commercial activity, and school. The nearby access to Highway I-82 will also increase response time to other emergencies. This is the sixth fire station in Richland and the fourth that includes space for a police presence.

The 10,850-square-foot facility will include space for police and Fire/EMS when it’s completed in July 2024, keprtv.com reported. Firefighters say the integrated model will provide the highest level of professional public service to the community and allows officers to remain within their assigned district during their shifts.
