Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Opens Donaldsonville (LA) Fire Department’s New Station

According to a report from WBRZ, officials from Ascension Parish cut the ribbon on a new Donaldsonville (LA) Fire Department (DFD) station in Modeste on Friday. 

Ascension Parish President Clint Cointment, his administration, and local fire board members came together for the ceremony.”

The $415,000 station was funded by Fire District #2. The station features two bays for apparatus and a conference room, kitchen, and restroom. Additionally, the station can also double as a voting precinct.

DFD Chief Adam Gautreaux said that the station’s location along Highway 405 will allow for faster response times and more volunteers.
