A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held today for the new D.C. Fire & EMS Deanwood Engine 27 firehouse.

As part of the festivities, firefighter/tech Christopher Johnson was honored with a Mayoral Proclamation for having served more than 34 years—all with Engine 27.
