Progress Being Made on New Haven (IN) Fire Station Expansion

According to a report from WANE, construction on the New Haven (IN) Fire/Emergency Medical Services $891,000 fire station is moving forward.

The expansion to the station on Hartzell Road will add a multipurpose room and second drive-thru bay, which will serve as a mass testing and vaccination site. The multipurpose room will also serve as warming and cooling center when needed.

The new addition should be complete by June 4th.

After being used as a coronavirus testing site earlier this year, city officials believe the expansion will benefit the city, region, and state.

You can find more information on the city’s Web site NewHaven.IN.gov.
