Phoenixville (PA) Fire Station Gets State Grant Funds

Phoenixville’s Fire Station project has received word that they are getting a state redevelopment grant of $1.75 million, reports Patch.com.

The work will include adding an office, support space and a six-bay drive-thru apparatus room and improving indoor and outdoor training capabilities. 

In Upper Providence Township, Central Emergency Services will receive $2 million for the construction of a fire and emergency services facility and training building. 

The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Programis administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational, and historical improvement projects.
