Parishville (NY) Celebrating New Fire Station

The Parishville Volunteer Fire Department is welcoming its new station with a parade and an open house, reports NNY 360.

The prior fire station’s proximity to a river caused drainage problems. The new $2 million fire station provides more room for equipment, a bigger meeting room, bigger offices, a decom room, and a washer and dryer for turnout gear.

The parade will be followed by an open house at the new station so people can get a tour.
