A Roslyn Highlands Fire Department station has an updated façade of new windows from national manufacturer Crystal Window & Door Systems, reports New York Real Estate Journal.

Crystal supplied 96 new energy efficient aluminum windows replacing the fire house’s original wood windows to modernize the facility.

A critical part of planning was developing an installation schedule that would not interfere with the active fire house’s operations.

The project also included a new dramatic red aluminum frame glass main entrance with commercial double doors and multiple sidelights and transoms supplied by Gamco Corp. and custom painted by Architectural Coating, Inc.

Crystal supplied complementary accessories including mullions, snap trim, and clips to facilitate installation.
