Mold Discovered in Melvindale (MI) Fire Station

A patch of darkly-colored mold was discovered inside Dearborn fire station No. 5, reports News-Herald.

Firefighters have been staying inside trucks and other equipment that has been moved outside of the building in case the mold is toxic.

Dearborn took over the station in 2013, running operations, but Melvindale is the building landlord and is required to maintain the building as part of the contract.
