Martin County (FL) Holds Ribbon Cutting for New Fire Station

PRESS RELEASE

We truly appreciate the community members, elected leaders and media partners who made the grand opening of Station 14 a success yesterday.

This state-of-the-art facility is part of our ongoing effort to improve response times and living conditions for our first responders.

Featuring rapidly opening bay doors, private dorm rooms, bathrooms, a commercial kitchen, and a gym, the station is a significant improvement over the previous aging facility. It’s also the culmination of an effort to similarly rebuild 3 other stations over the last few years.

In 2022, crews handled 2,229 calls from the old station, and covered 40 square miles.

A huge thank you to the Martin County Board of County Commissioners for helping us make this a reality.

We also thank Rep. John Snyder for his attendance.

We appreciate the support from the community and everyone who tuned in on Facebook, as well.

The best is yet to come!
