Loveland Fire Rescue Authority’s proposed fire station could break ground next year if a mixed 1% city sales take hike and mill levy ballot question are passed by voters, reports Loveland Reporter-Herald.
While the station’s team of firefighters would be based outside of Loveland’s city limits, they could support operations anywhere in the authority’s coverage area or those of Loveland’s mutual aid partners.
The location was decided based on call patterns and the number of homes that it would allow firefighters to reach within five minutes.
