Green Creek (NC) Firefighters Get New Fire Pumper as Progress Continues on New Station

Firefighters with Green Creek (NC) Fire Rescue are pleased to announce that the department has received it’s new rescue pumper, according to a report published by Tryon Daily Bulletin.

According to the report, Engine 26 is a 2022 4 Guys rescue pumper built in Pennsylvania on a Spartan cab and chassis.

Additionally, the department is expecting to move into a brand new fire station sometime later this year, according to the report which also said the new apparatus and station should improve the community’s insurance rating.

The station for the department, which was established 1964, is expected to be completed and opened in November.
