Among four items up for consideration at Wednesday’s Special Town Meeting in Bernardston (MA) is funding for a fire station addition project, reports gazettenet.com.
Officials will be asking at the meeting to set aside $130,000 of a voter-approved $3 million to get the first wave of fire station expenses covered, officials say. It’s mainly for invoices generated from the construction of the addition, a project that was approved in May, the report says.
The Special Town Meeting is scheduled for tomorrow at 7 p.m. in the Bernardston Elementary School gym. More information on the fire station project, as well as the other three items on the agenda, can be found here.
