Eddy County’s Board of County Commissioners approved a request to inspect all volunteer fire stations after a summer of heavy rain

Eddy County’s Board of County Commissioners approved a request to inspect all volunteer fire stations after a summer of heavy rain, reports Carlsbad Current Argus.

The fire department asked for $100,000 out of the fire excise tax fund for the inspections.

ECFR Chief Joshua Mack said building inspections allow immediate needs to be addressed and repairs made.
