Dublin (GA) Approved for New Station

Officials are hopeful the project can be completed by next year.

The City of Dublin (GA) Fire Department was recently approved for a third fire station, which will serve as department headquarters and aim to add more fire and EMS services to the community, reports wgxa.tv.

The station will be funded mostly by SPLOST dollars, the report says, and Georgia Military College will help with the design.

The new facility is currently in the beginning stages, but the city has purchased land on 441 North. Officials are hopeful the project can be completed by next year.
