Dickson County (TN) Fire and Rescue Fire Station Opens Amid Busy Three Weeks
On October 21, Dickson County Fire and Rescue opened its new station, and during its first three weeks, the department has worked a number of incidents.
The new fire station is a 40- x 100-foot building located on donated land. It has four bays, a living area, kitchen day room, bathrooms, and two offices. It houses a pumper, heavy rescue unit, tanker, UTV, boats, and a brush truck.
The presence of the new station is expected to lower home insurance costs in the surrounding area.
