Dallas Fire Station No. 19 was demolished last year and construction to rebuild the facility is expected to begin soon, reports Advocate Magazine.

The fire station was damaged during storms in 2019.

The building is planned for 8,400 square feet and is expected to cost $4 million. Among its staff is an urban search and rescue team, one of the special operations functions of Dallas Fire-Rescue.
