Two new fire stations are now under contract after approval from city officials, reports Community Impact.
Fire Station No. 2 will replace an old facility that was built in the 1970s and was about 2,700 square feet. The new facility will be about 16,000 square feet, will house 10-12 personnel and have four apparatus bays.
Fire Station No. 3 will replace a building that was built in the 1980s, will house up to six personnel and have three apparatus bays, according to city information.
