City Plans to Close Youngstown (OH) Fire Station

The president of the Youngstown firefighters’ union said he learned the city plans to close a long-standing fire station, reports WKBN 27.

Youngstown City Law Director Jeff Limbian said the reason the city decided to close the station is because of the building itself, which is over 100 years old. Limbian said it is “antiquated” and the floor cannot support the weight of the truck.
