Ceremonial Groundbreaking for Lucketts (VA) Fire Station

County leaders held a ceremonial groundbreaking at the site of the future Lucketts Fire and Rescue Station, reports Loudoun Now.

The new $10.5 million, 18,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will replace the current Lucketts Volunteer Fire and Rescue Station next door, which Loudoun County Chairwoman Phyllis J. Randall (D-At Large) said has stood since 1969.

The building will be the home of a fire engine, ambulance, tanker, a brush unit, and the department’s Swift Water Rescue Team.
