Brookline (MA) Fire Station Closed for Cleaning Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The Brookline Fire Department has temporarily closed one of its stations for cleaning after a member of the department had a fever, reports WCVB 5.

Officials said the firefighter will be tested for COVID-19. As a precaution, the department also ordered seven of the firefighters coworkers to self-quarantine.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported 777 cases of COVID-19 in the state and nine deaths.
