Augusta (GA) Fire Station to Offer COVID-19 Testing

The Augusta Fire/EMA Department has partnered with the Georgia Department of Public Health and Christ Community Health to offer free coronavirus, reports The Augusta Chronicle.

People are encouraged to register in advance by contacting the Department of Public Health at 311, although it is not required to receive a test. Those who arrive without registering can expect to wait an additional 20 to 30 minutes before being tested. All walks-ups will be screened prior to being tested.

Individuals who wish to get tested can either drive through or walk up to the testing site entrance, which can be accessed from Reynolds Street.
