Mutualink Names Tom Ridge to Advisory Board

Wallingford, CT — Mutualink, Inc., a Connecticut-based company specializing in advanced interoperable communications solutions for public safety and emergency management personnel, has named Tom Ridge, the first secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and 43rd governor of Pennsylvania, to its advisory board.
Ridge joins a advisory board comprised of top leaders in the areas of homeland security and defense, including General Wesley K. Clark (Ret.) and General Barry McCaffrey (Ret.).   Along with Governor Ridge, his firm, Washington, D.C.-based Ridge Global, will provide Mutualink with strategic business advisory services relating to homeland security and emergency preparedness and response.

“We are incredibly honored to have Governor Ridge and Ridge Global join our team,” says Mark Hatten, CEO, Mutualink.  “Governor Ridge is one of the most distinguished and respected leaders in the world. He brings a depth of knowledge in security matters that few have.  We are very fortunate to add an individual of this caliber to help guide us as we continue to accelerate growth, and to position Mutualink in a way that will bring great benefit to communities across our country and beyond.”

“I’m delighted to join Mark Hatten and the Mutualink team,” says Ridge. “Mutualink’s technology has demonstrated strong value to our military leaders overseas, as well as to first responders, key state fusion center personnel and emergency operation center directors here at home.”

“Although Congress moved recently to create a national public safety network, the build-out is expected to take years.  Mutualink can help our first responders get the interoperable communications capability they want, need and deserve now.”
