MN Department Gets Federal Funding for Fire Equipment

The Caledonia (MN) Fire Department received approximately $800,000 in grant money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to upgrade an outdated communication system, and purchase new equipment, according to a report from WXOW 19 News in Wisconsin.

The report states that the department will apply $661,000 of the funds to a radio system upgrade throughout all of Houston County.
