The company said the new brand reflects a unified and strategic corporate direction as a global leader that for decades has combined innovation with stability and heritage and resourcefulness with experience. The brand, according to the company, is built on three promises that define Scott Safety’s corporate philosophy and the value it delivers to its customers – innovating with purpose, providing solutions that are smart and always putting the customer first.
“Defining a single brand is an important step,” said Mike Ryan, Scott Safety vice president and general manager. “The Scott Safety brand builds on our rich heritage and our passion for personal protection, developed over decades of working with our customers around the world on safety improvements.”
Founded in 1932, Scott Safety has expanded to provide safety solutions in new markets and industries. It has operations in multiple countries and customers in more than 50 countries.
The new brand is supported by a launch campaign that includes a redesigned logo and Web site, www.scottsafety.com, a cutting-edge resource that better serves local and global customers and embraces the new identity.
“The new name and focus sharpens our commitment to the safety industry and positions us for continued success globally,” Ryan said.
