MINNEAPOLIS, MN –OPEN Incorporated, makers of the SafetyPAD® suite of technology products for Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), announces that the Cincinnati Fire Department has deployed its system agency-wide. Doing so allows the organization to provide rapid, appropriate and timely response regardless of the conditions in the field.

Cincinnati Fire will take full advantage of SafetyPAD’s Enterprise Reporting and CaseFlow modules. OPEN’s unique web-based interface allows agencies to obtain detailed analysis of calls, procedures, status of report preparation, monitoring and corrective action requirements, as well as customizable reports to meet elected officials and the public’s need for information.
OPEN created several custom features for the SafetyPAD Mobile product through feedback from the Department. “We had a very aggressive schedule with multiple customizations. Through a combined effort between Cincinnati Fire Department and OPEN, we were able to pull off a very successful field deployment,” said Scott Streicher, OPEN’s Director of Operations.
Cincinnati Fire protects the city 24/7 and operates 26 fire stations throughout the city, including 27 medic units, 26 paramedic engines, aircraft rescue and various support units. Cincinnati Fire Department responds to approximately 75,000 incidents every year.
The system launch for Cincinnati Fire comes on the heels of successful SafetyPAD deployments for Miami-Dade (FL) Fire Rescue, City of Miami (FL) Fire and adds another large Ohio agency to OPEN’s successes that already includes the Columbus (OH)Division of Fire.
