Bullard has made its Top Comfort brow and crown pad standard on its PX, FX, UST and USTM model helmets.

The pads are made from soft inner foam lining, wrapped in a fire-retardant, moisture-absorbent jersey knit fabric, according to the maker.

The brow pad wicks away moisture and is designed to eliminate uncomfortable bunching while the crown pad, suspended weightlessly in the center of the crown straps, is designed to leave enough space to accommodate a fire hood.

Bullard structural fire helmets have always provided outstanding head protection, unmatched durability and superior comfort with 12 adjustable settings and an easily adjusted ratchet headband, according to the maker.

Founded in 1898, Bullard, located in Cynthiana, Ky., is a leading manufacturer of personal protective equipment and systems worldwide.

Products offered by Bullard include thermal imagers, hard hats, firefighter and rescue helmets, supplied air respirators, powered air-purifying respirators and air quality equipment.
