The Bronson (MI) Fire Department had Rosenbauer build a commercial chassis top-mount pumper on an International chassis and four-door cab, powered by a Cummins 350-hp engine and an Allison 3000 EVS automatic transmission.
When it came time to retire a couple of older pumper-tenders, Spokane County developed specs and requested bids for two new vehicles. Rosenbauer was awarded the bid.
Features of the new tanker include dump chutes at the rear, driver side, and officer side, an upgrade from the older unit, which can only dump water from the rear of the unit.
