Matt Sloane

Owner/Chief Pilot

Matt Sloane is the founder and Chief Pilot for Atlanta Drone Consultants, a business focused on helping public safety agencies incorporate unmanned aerial vehicles into their departments for emergency use.

Matt is a certified Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate, and formerly served as the Chief of Resources and Planning for the Emory EMS service.

After leaving Emory, he went on to have a successful 15-year tenure at CNN, including 10 years as a field producer and special projects producer for CNN Medical News and Dr. Sanjay Gupta.

But Sloane always knew he was an entrepreneur at heart, so in January of 2014, he officially left the network to dedicate himself full-time to the companies he helped found.

Now, with CNN as a client, he’s working on projects ranging from managing CNN Fit Nation – a triathlon program he founded while at CNN – to creating and producing fitness focused clinics and events through another company he started – Endurance Labs. He’s also doing ground-level and aerial videography through his full-service video production company, Benson Street Productions.
