Port Edwards, WI , has taken delivery of a Darley Vision pumper. The apparatus uses a Spartan 380-hp Metro Star chassis, equipped with a Darley PSMC 1500 pump with CAFS. The engine is a Cummins L9.
FDNY Expands and Renovates Engine 63/Ladder 39 Station
The Fire Department of New York (FDNY) housed an engine, a ladder, and a battalion chief in an older station that had cramped and outdated quarters on the northern edge of The Bronx. The department wanted to renovate the structure and expand the building to house a battalion chief’s apparatus bay as well as to provide enough space for the three elements to function well.
