Detroit Rig Crashes; Preconnects for Engine Couples; The Rig: Pieces and Parts

The Detroit (MI) Fire Department had a unique incident in which someone stole an ambulance from a fire station by driving it through the closed bay door. It was recovered after it rolled over. Details are below. Haslet (TX) Fire Rescue 2017 Pierce Velocity PUC Platform

Truck 28 was placed into service on March 31, 2018, with Haslet (TX) Fire-Rescue. The cab and chassis are the Velocity model with TAK-4 suspension on the front axle.
