Wareham (MA) Firefighters Begin Training on New Brush-Breaker

Wareham Fire Department

Wareham (MA) Firefighters have begun training on a new, not-yet-in-service “brush-breaker” truck, reports wickedlocal.com.

The five-ton apparatus—which can carry 750 gallons of water and 25 gallons of foam—is a surplus Army vehicle and fire officials say it was provided at a “great savings” to the department.

The new truck will become Breaker 404 when it’s lettered.
