Riverview’s (FL) Station 46 to Break Ground in June

Hillsborough County (FL) tax-payer money is being used to build the $5 million Station 46 in Riverview, reports abcactionnew.com.

To be located along Rhodine Road and sit between Stations 16 and 3, Station 46 is expected to break ground in June, though personnel is already on standby and the apparatuses have been purchased. It will house an ambulance, ladder truck, and a tanker

The location, officials say, could be key to cutting response times in half.
