Pleasant Prairie (WI) Adding Fire Apparatus to Fleet

The new engine from Reliant Fire Apparatus was planned last year, and the $1,129,059 price tag will come from the 2021 budget.

Pleasant Prairie is expecting a new rescue engine this week, reports Kenosha News.

The new engine from Reliant Fire Apparatus was planned last year, and the $1,129,059 price tag will come from the 2021 budget.

The new arrival will replace two older engines that will be taken out of service. In 2019, a fire study proposed an aerial engine and the soon-to-be-delivered rescue engine were listed.

The fire chief said that acquiring fire trucks with purpose-driven strategy will help lessen the number of fire trucks needed.
