La Vergne (TN) Fire Rescue Department Adds EVTs

Two master mechanics for the City of La Vergne, Tennessee, are qualified to perform maintenance and repairs on La Vergne’s fire apparatus.

The two public works department employees are Emergency Vehicle Technicians (EVTs) and since achieving the certification, the two have reportedly saved the city $150,000 by reducing the need to outsource fire apparatus maintenance to an outside company.
