Four Firefighters Injured, Two Critically, in Houston (TX) Fire

At least four firefighters were injured in a five-alarm fire today at hotel fire in Houston, Texas.

Two of the firefighters were critically injured, according to the Houston Chronicle (http://bit.ly/13qSwGl). All four were taken to area hospitals. A report from ABC 13 indicated that four firefighters were critically injured, but it’s not clear what the exact number is.

The fire broke out at the Bhojan Restaurant at around noon and engulfed the neighboring Southwest Inn. The cause of the fire is undetermined as of this writing.

Firefighters were facing severe dehydration because of the extreme heat.
