Donation Makes New Brush Truck Possible for California Department

An anonymous donor made it possible for the Calistoga (CA) Firefighter Association to purchase a fire apparatus for the Calistoga Fire Department.

The donation is worth $435,000. The new Type 3 brush truck will replace the departments 1998 brush truck.

The gift was made possbile through the Napa Valey Coummunity Foundation. Calistoga will contribute $16,000 for equipment and will assume regular maintenance costs.

The rig was manufactured by Pierce Manufacturing and is built on a four-door International cab and chassis.
