
The Charlo-Moiese Volunteer Fire Department recently took delivery of a new pumper-tanker built on a Freightliner cab and chassis. It carries 1,500 gallons of water and has a 1,800-gallon portable tank. It also features a 1,250-gpm pump.
Water delivery options include two 1 3/4-inch attack lines, a front-mounted monitor, and a rear booster reel.
Total cost of the truck came to $325,000, with $300,000 coming from teh FEMA AFG program. The remaining funds came from fundraisers.
The new rig was sold by Heiman Fire Equipment for Rosenbauer America..
