Bucyrus (OH) Fire Department Welcomes Pumper Fire Apparatus

The Bucyrus Fire Department’s new pumper fire truck was delivered, reports Bucyrus Telegraph Forum.

The pumper truck was manufactured by Sutphen and has a rescue body, a 2,000-gallon-per-minute pump and a 30-gallon foam cell. It holds 1,000 gallons of water. The updated lighting on it will be more visible than what people are used to seeing on the city’s two 1998 pumper trucks.

The new pumper essentially replaces two older trucks, Schwemley said — a 1989 Seagrave that will be sold and one of two 1998 Smeal pumpers
